ضمن جهود وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية لتعزيز الشراكات الدولية ونقل المعرفة والخبرات المتقدمة، واستقطاب الاستثمارات النوعية إلى المملكة بما يدعم تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية 2030 ويعزز مكانتها كمركز صناعي وتعديني عالمي؛ عقد وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر بن إبراهيم الخريّف لقاءً في مدينة سانت بطرسبرغ الروسية مع عدد من المسؤولين الاستثماريين لبحث فرص التعاون في القطاعات ذات الأولوية.

كما زار وزير الصناعة معهد «Karpinsky» الجيولوجي، إذ جرى تبادل الخبرات والاطلاع على أحدث التقنيات المستخدمة في استكشاف المعادن، بما يسهم في تطوير قطاع التعدين وتعزيز المعرفة الجيولوجية في المملكة.

وتناول اللقاء مناقشة فرص التعاون في القطاعات التي تستهدفها الإستراتيجية الوطنية للصناعة من حيث التطوير وتوطين التقنيات، إضافة إلى بحث مجالات التعاون في المدن الصناعية، بما يدعم تنمية القدرات الصناعية الوطنية وتطوير سلاسل الإمداد.

As part of the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to enhance international partnerships and transfer advanced knowledge and expertise, as well as attract quality investments to the Kingdom in support of achieving the objectives of Vision 2030 and strengthening its position as a global industrial and mining hub; the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, held a meeting in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a number of investment officials to discuss cooperation opportunities in priority sectors.

Additionally, the Minister of Industry visited the Karpinsky Geological Institute, where experiences were exchanged and the latest technologies used in mineral exploration were reviewed, contributing to the development of the mining sector and enhancing geological knowledge in the Kingdom.

The meeting addressed discussions on cooperation opportunities in the sectors targeted by the National Industrial Strategy in terms of development and localization of technologies, as well as exploring areas of collaboration in industrial cities, which supports the development of national industrial capabilities and the enhancement of supply chains.
