ارتفع ‌الذهب بأكثر من 1% اليوم ويتجه لتسجيل أول مكاسب أسبوعية في خمسة أسابيع، وسط تراجع توقعات المستثمرين برفع مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأمريكي) لأسعار الفائدة في أعقاب صدور بيانات توظيف أمريكية جاءت أضعف من التقديرات.
وصعد الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 1.4% إلى 4179.94 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) مسجلًا أعلى مستوى له منذ 23 يونيو، كما زادت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم أغسطس 1.6% إلى 4193.20 دولار.
ويتجه المعدن النفيس لتحقيق مكاسب أسبوعية 2.3%، وهي الأولى له منذ الأسبوع الذي بدأ في 25 ‌مايو، إذ هدّأت بيانات الوظائف غير الزراعية ووظائف القطاع الخاص التي جاءت أضعف من المتوقع من المخاوف المرتبطة بالتضخم.
وبالنسبة للمعادن النفيسة الأخرى، ارتفعت الفضة في المعاملات الفورية 2.3% إلى 62.43 ‌دولار للأوقية، وزاد البلاتين 2.7% إلى 1660.05، وصعد البلاديوم 1.3% إلى 1284.40، والمعادن الثلاثة عند أعلى مستوياتها في أكثر من أسبوع وتتجه لمكاسب أسبوعية.

Gold rose by more than 1% today and is heading towards recording its first weekly gains in five weeks, amid a decline in investors' expectations for the Federal Reserve (the U.S. central bank) to raise interest rates following the release of U.S. employment data that came in weaker than estimates.
Gold in spot transactions increased by 1.4% to $4,179.94 per ounce, marking its highest level since June 23, while U.S. gold futures for August delivery rose by 1.6% to $4,193.20.
The precious metal is on track to achieve weekly gains of 2.3%, its first since the week starting May 25, as the weaker-than-expected non-farm payroll and private sector job data eased inflation-related concerns.
As for other precious metals, silver in spot transactions rose by 2.3% to $62.43 per ounce, platinum increased by 2.7% to $1,660.05, and palladium climbed by 1.3% to $1,284.40, with all three metals at their highest levels in over a week and heading for weekly gains.
