أكدت الهيئة العامة للمنشآت الصغيرة والمتوسطة «منشآت» استمرار نمو قطاع الامتياز التجاري في المملكة، إذ بلغ إجمالي عدد العلامات التجارية العاملة بنظام الامتياز التجاري «الفرانشايز» في السوق السعودية حتى نهاية الربع الثاني من عام 2026 نحو 1.514 علامة تجارية، تشكل العلامات التجارية المحلية منها 744 علامة بنسبة تُقدر بنحو 49.1% من إجمالي العلامات العاملة في السوق.
زيادة ملحوظة

وأوضحت الهيئة أن هذا النمو يعكس التطور الذي شهده القطاع منذ تأسيس مركز الامتياز التجاري التابع لمنشآت في عام 2020، إذ كان إجمالي عدد العلامات التجارية العاملة في المملكة آنذاك نحو 692 علامة تجارية، منها 93 علامة تجارية محلية تمثل نحو 13% من إجمالي العلامات، بما يعكس الزيادة الملحوظة في عدد العلامات الوطنية خلال السنوات الماضية.

دعم وتحول

وأشارت «منشآت» إلى أن مركز الامتياز التجاري أسهم بشكل مباشر في دعم وتحول 214 علامة تجارية محلية إلى نظام الامتياز التجاري، بما يمثل أكثر من 28% من إجمالي العلامات التجارية المحلية العاملة في السوق، إضافة إلى التحقق من جاهزية 2.636 علامة تجارية لمنح الامتياز التجاري، في إطار جهوده الرامية إلى رفع جاهزية العلامات الوطنية وتعزيز فرص توسعها.

وبينت الهيئة أن سوق الامتياز التجاري في المملكة تشهد تنوعاً في القطاعات المانحة، تشمل أبرزها الأغذية والمشروبات، والتجزئة، والتعليم، والرعاية الصحية، والخدمات، والترفيه، بما يعكس اتساع الفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة أمام رواد الأعمال والمستثمرين.

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monshaat" confirmed the continued growth of the franchise sector in the Kingdom, as the total number of brands operating under the franchise system in the Saudi market reached approximately 1,514 brands by the end of the second quarter of 2026, with local brands accounting for 744 brands, representing about 49.1% of the total brands operating in the market.
Notable Increase

The Authority clarified that this growth reflects the development witnessed by the sector since the establishment of the Franchise Center affiliated with Monshaat in 2020, when the total number of brands operating in the Kingdom was around 692 brands, including 93 local brands that represented about 13% of the total brands, highlighting the notable increase in the number of national brands over the past years.

Support and Transformation

Monshaat indicated that the Franchise Center has directly contributed to the support and transformation of 214 local brands into the franchise system, representing more than 28% of the total local brands operating in the market, in addition to verifying the readiness of 2,636 brands to grant franchises, as part of its efforts to enhance the readiness of national brands and boost their expansion opportunities.

The Authority pointed out that the franchise market in the Kingdom is witnessing diversity in the granting sectors, including the most prominent ones such as food and beverages, retail, education, healthcare, services, and entertainment, reflecting the wide range of investment opportunities available to entrepreneurs and investors.
