توقع بنك «UBS» ارتفاع أسعار الذهب إلى 5000 دولار للأوقية خلال النصف الأول من 2027، مدفوعة بعوامل هيكلية تعزز جاذبية المعدن النفيس على المديين المتوسط والطويل.

ولا يزال البنك يرى أن أسعار الذهب تواجه مخاطر التقلب على المدى القصير، بحسب مذكرة صدرت أمس (الخميس).

ويتوقع «UBS» أن يتباطأ التضخم في الولايات المتحدة تدريجياً، ما قد يسمح للفيدرالي بالإبقاء على أسعار الفائدة دون تغيير خلال العام الحالي قبل استئناف خفضها في 2027، وهو ما قد يضغط على عوائد السندات والدولار، ويدعم الطلب على الذهب.

كما يتوقع البنك أن تظل مشتريات البنوك المركزية من المعدن الأصفر قوية، مع تقديرات بوصول مشتريات هذه المصارف إلى ما بين 750 و1000 طن خلال العام الحالي، بعد شراء 289 طنًا في الربع الثاني.

However, the bank still sees gold prices facing short-term volatility risks, according to a memo released yesterday (Thursday).

UBS anticipates that inflation in the United States will gradually slow down, which may allow the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates unchanged this year before resuming cuts in 2027, potentially putting pressure on bond yields and the dollar, while supporting demand for gold.

The bank also expects central bank purchases of the yellow metal to remain strong, with estimates of these banks' purchases reaching between 750 and 1,000 tons this year, following the purchase of 289 tons in the second quarter.
