تراجعت أسعار العملات المشفرة خلال تعاملات اليوم (الجمعة)، متأثرة بإلغاء هيئة الأوراق المالية والبورصات الأمريكية اجتماعاً كان مقرراً عقده اليوم، لمناقشة خطط جديدة تتعلق بالأصول الرقمية.

وأوضح متحدث باسم الهيئة، في بيان صدر مساء أمس (الخميس)، أن الاجتماع سيؤجل إلى موعد لاحق، بسبب مشكلة طارئة طرأت على الجدول الزمني.

وعلى صعيد التداولات، انخفضت البيتكوين إلى ما دون مستوى 63 ألف دولار، لتتجه نحو تسجيل خسارة أسبوعية تتجاوز 3%.

وتراجعت البيتكوين بنسبة 0.67%، أو ما يعادل 423.85 دولار، لتتداول عند 62912.25 دولار.

كما انخفضت الإيثريوم بنسبة 0.71%، أو 13.30 دولار، إلى 1872.74 دولار، فيما تراجعت الريبل بنحو 0.0043 دولار، لتسجل 1.0041 دولار.

The prices of cryptocurrencies declined during today's trading (Friday), affected by the cancellation of a meeting that was scheduled to take place today by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to discuss new plans related to digital assets.

A spokesperson for the commission explained in a statement issued yesterday evening (Thursday) that the meeting will be postponed to a later date due to an urgent issue that arose in the schedule.

In terms of trading, Bitcoin fell below the $63,000 level, heading towards a weekly loss exceeding 3%.

Bitcoin dropped by 0.67%, or $423.85, trading at $62,912.25.

Ethereum also decreased by 0.71%, or $13.30, to $1,872.74, while Ripple fell by about $0.0043, recording $1.0041.
