ذكر نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جيه دي فانس أن خفض أسعار البنزين في الولايات المتحدة هو الأولوية القصوى للإدارة في ظل الحرب ضد إيران.

وصرح فانس في مقابلة مع «فوكس نيوز»، مساء الخميس، قائلاً: «إن أسعار النفط تعتبر منخفضة اليوم، وأقل بكثير من مستوياتها المرتفعة المسجلة في بداية الصراع».

وأضاف أن الهدف الأول لإدارة ترمب هو الحفاظ على أسعار النفط والغاز منخفضة في جميع أنحاء الولايات المتحدة، بينما الهدف الثاني هو ضمان عدم حصول إيران على سلاح نووي.

ويأتي هذا في تناقض واضح مع الهدف الأمريكي الذي أعلن في بداية الصراع أواخر فبراير، وهو منع طهران من امتلاك سلاح نووي.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that lowering gasoline prices in the United States is the administration's top priority amid the war against Iran.

Vance said in an interview with "Fox News" on Thursday evening, "Oil prices are considered low today, and much lower than the high levels recorded at the beginning of the conflict."

He added that the primary goal of the Trump administration is to keep oil and gas prices low across the United States, while the second goal is to ensure that Iran does not acquire a nuclear weapon.

This comes in stark contrast to the U.S. objective announced at the beginning of the conflict in late February, which was to prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
