تراجعت أسعار العملات المشفرة خلال تعاملات (الثلاثاء)، مع ترقب صدور محضر الاجتماع الأخير لمجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي غداً، بحثاً عن دلائل بشأن مسار الفائدة الأمريكية.

وتتوقع شركات متخصصة في قطاع العملات المشفرة ارتفاع سعر البيتكوين بنسبة 30% أو أكثر خلال الشهرين القادمين؛ نظراً لانخفاض تقلبات العملة المشفرة الأكبر عالمياً من حيث القيمة السوقية إلى مستويات تاريخية منخفضة، وذلك حسبما نقلت شبكة «سي إن بي سي».

وأشار شون فاريل رئيس إستراتيجية الأصول الرقمية بإحدى الشركات في مذكرة، إلى أن تقلبات سعر البيتكوين خلال الثلاثين يوماً الماضية كانت من بين أدنى مستوياتها على الإطلاق. وأوضح أن فترات الهدوء التي شهدتها العملة المشفرة تاريخياً غالباً ما أعقبتها تحركات أكبر بكثير في الأشهر القليلة التالية.

الصناديق المتداولة

سجلت صناديق بيتكوين المتداولة في الولايات المتحدة أكبر تخارجات أسبوعية منذ نهاية يونيو الماضي، في إشارة إلى عودة الحذر بين المستثمرين المؤسساتيين تجاه أكبر العملات المشفرة.

وسجلت الصناديق الأمريكية الـ13 صافي تدفقات خارجة بلغ نحو 390 مليون دولار خلال الأسبوع الماضي، بعد أن جذبت أكثر من 853 مليون دولار في الأسبوع السابق، وكانت الأعلى منذ شهر أبريل الماضي.

ويأتي التحول بالتزامن مع تداول عملة بيتكوين قرب 63 ألف دولار، بانخفاض يقارب 50% عن قمتها التاريخية المسجلة في أكتوبر الماضي.

Cryptocurrency prices fell during trading on Tuesday, as investors await the release of the minutes from the last Federal Reserve meeting tomorrow, looking for clues about the path of U.S. interest rates.

Specialized companies in the cryptocurrency sector expect the price of Bitcoin to rise by 30% or more over the next two months, due to the decline in volatility of the largest cryptocurrency globally by market capitalization to historically low levels, according to CNBC.

Sean Farrell, head of digital asset strategy at one of the firms, noted in a memo that Bitcoin's price volatility over the past thirty days has been among its lowest ever. He explained that periods of calm historically experienced by the cryptocurrency have often been followed by much larger movements in the following few months.

Exchange-Traded Funds

Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States recorded their largest weekly outflows since the end of June, signaling a return of caution among institutional investors towards the largest cryptocurrency.

The 13 U.S. funds recorded a net outflow of approximately $390 million last week, after attracting more than $853 million in the previous week, which was the highest since April.

This shift comes as Bitcoin trades near $63,000, down nearly 50% from its all-time high recorded last October.
