كشف وزير الطاقة الأمريكي كريس رايت أن كمية النفط ومشتقاته المتدفقة من الخليج العربي بمساعدة جيش بلاده تجاوزت 15 مليون برميل (الثلاثاء) الماضي، وهو ما يقترب من متوسط ما قبل الحرب البالغ 20 مليون برميل يومياً.

وأوضح رايت في تغريدة على منصة «إكس» أنه "بإضافة الكميات المنقولة عبر خطوط الأنابيب يقترب إجمالي الكمية المغادرة للمنطقة من 20 مليون برميل في ذلك اليوم، في حين تجاوز متوسط التدفقات عبر مضيق هرمز في الأيام السبعة الماضية نحو ثمانية ملايين برميل يومياً.

وتعكس تصريحات رايت جهوداً متزايدة من الإدارة الأمريكية لمساعدة مصدري النفط على تجاوز التهديدات الإيرانية للملاحة في المضيق، وهو ما يساعد اقتصادات المنطقة التي تعتمد على دخل مبيعات البترول، كما تسعى الولايات المتحدة إلى خفض أسعار النفط عالمياً قبل انتخابات التجديد النصفي للكونغرس في شهر نوفمبر.

ويتزامن تحسن تدفقات الخام عبر هرمز مع لجوء الشركات إلى أسلوب النقل المكوكي لشحن النفط في رحلات قصيرة عبر المضيق ثم نقله إلى سفن أخرى خارج الخليج العربي، وأصبح هذا الأسلوب وسيلة مهمة لإخراج النفط من الخليج رغم استمرار حرب إيران، ما أسهم في احتواء ارتفاع الأسعار العالمية.

كما نقلت وكالة الأنباء العراقية عن الرئيس العراقي نزار آميدي قوله (السبت) إن بعض السفن التي تنقل نفط بلاده تحصل على تسهيلات لعبور هرمز.

U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright revealed that the amount of oil and its derivatives flowing from the Arabian Gulf with the help of his country's military exceeded 15 million barrels last Tuesday, which is close to the pre-war average of 20 million barrels per day.

Wright explained in a tweet on the platform "X" that "by adding the quantities transported via pipelines, the total amount leaving the region approaches 20 million barrels that day, while the average flows through the Strait of Hormuz over the past seven days exceeded about eight million barrels per day.

Wright's statements reflect increasing efforts by the U.S. administration to help oil exporters overcome Iranian threats to navigation in the strait, which supports the economies of the region that rely on oil sales income. The United States is also seeking to lower global oil prices ahead of the congressional midterm elections in November.

The improvement in crude flows through Hormuz coincides with companies resorting to a shuttle transportation method for shipping oil on short trips through the strait and then transferring it to other ships outside the Arabian Gulf. This method has become an important means of getting oil out of the Gulf despite the ongoing war in Iran, contributing to containing the rise in global prices.

Additionally, the Iraqi News Agency quoted Iraqi President Nizar Amidi as saying on Saturday that some ships transporting his country's oil are receiving facilitation to cross Hormuz.
