مددت دولة قطر حالة «القوة القاهرة» على إمدادات الغاز الطبيعي المسال لعدد من المشترين في أوروبا وآسيا، وسط استمرار الضبابية بشأن إعادة الفتح الكامل لمضيق هرمز، ما يزيد من حالة عدم اليقين حيال عودة تدفقات الطاقة في الخليج العربي.

وأبلغت شركة «قطر للطاقة» المملوكة للدولة، مشترين باكستانيين خلال الأسبوع الجاري، استمرار إلغاء شحنات الغاز الطبيعي المسال حتى أكتوبر القادم، وفقاً لتجار مطلعين على التطورات، كما مُددت حالة «القوة القاهرة» على الإمدادات الموجهة إلى بنغلاديش إلى ما بعد سبتمبر، بحسب المصادر ذاتها.

وفي أوروبا، أفادت شركة «إديسون» الإيطالية، إحدى عملاء «قطر للطاقة»، بأن إلغاء الشحنات سيستمر حتى أوائل نوفمبر، فيما تلقى تجار آخرون في السوق الأوروبية إخطارات مماثلة، وفقاً لمصدرين مطلعين على التطورات.

ولم تستجب «قطر للطاقة» على الفور لطلب التعليق على تمديد حالة «القوة القاهرة» أو الجدول الزمني لاستئناف الشحنات.

The State of Qatar has extended the state of "force majeure" on liquefied natural gas supplies to several buyers in Europe and Asia, amid ongoing uncertainty regarding the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which increases the uncertainty surrounding the return of energy flows in the Arabian Gulf.

QatarEnergy, the state-owned company, informed Pakistani buyers this week that the cancellation of LNG shipments would continue until October, according to traders familiar with the developments. The state of "force majeure" on supplies directed to Bangladesh has also been extended beyond September, according to the same sources.

In Europe, the Italian company Edison, one of QatarEnergy's clients, reported that the cancellation of shipments would continue until early November, while other traders in the European market received similar notifications, according to two sources familiar with the developments.

QatarEnergy did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the extension of the "force majeure" status or the timeline for resuming shipments.
