أعلن وزير الطاقة الأمريكي كريس رايت في مقابلة مع شبكة «سي إن بي سي» اليوم أن أكثر من 17 مليون برميل من النفط عبر مضيق هرمز على متن ناقلات (الإثنين) الماضي، وهو مستوى قياسي منذ بدء الصراع الإيراني في أواخر فبراير 2026.

وجاءت تصريحات وزير الطاقة خلال حديثه مع المذيع برايان سوليفان من شبكة «سي إن بي سي» في فنزويلا اليوم، وذلك بعد خمسة أيام من إعلان الرئيس دونالد ترمب عن صفقة نفطية ضخمة مع الحكومة المؤقتة في كاراكاس.

تجاوز المستويات

وأوضح رايت أن صادرات النفط من المنطقة (الإثنين) تجاوزت مستويات ما قبل الحرب، عند احتساب خطوط أنابيب السعودية والإمارات التي تتجاوز مضيق هرمز، مشيراً إلى أن نحو 20 مليون برميل يومياً من النفط الخام ومشتقاته كانت تمر عبر المضيق قبل اندلاع الصراع في 28 فبراير.

وأضاف رايت أن إيران تفقد قدرتها على احتجاز الاقتصاد العالمي رهينة في ظل مساعدة الجيش الأمريكي لناقلات النفط على الإبحار عبر مضيق هرمز، مشيراً إلى أن طهران تتسبب في بعض الاضطرابات، لكنها بدأت تفقد هذه الورقة.

أسعار الخام

وعلى صعيد الأسواق، انخفضت أسعار النفط الخام الأمريكي بنحو 1% اليوم، رغم أن العقود الآجلة كانت قد حامت حول مستوى 90 دولاراً للبرميل في وقت سابق من الجلسة، وذلك في ظل تبادل الضربات العسكرية بين واشنطن وطهران، ما أنهى فترة من الهدوء النسبي.

U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced in an interview with CNBC today that more than 17 million barrels of oil passed through the Strait of Hormuz on tankers last Monday, a record level since the start of the Iranian conflict in late February 2026.

The Energy Secretary's remarks came during his conversation with CNBC host Brian Sullivan in Venezuela today, just five days after President Donald Trump announced a massive oil deal with the interim government in Caracas.

Exceeding Levels

Wright explained that oil exports from the region on Monday exceeded pre-war levels, when accounting for Saudi and Emirati pipelines that bypass the Strait of Hormuz, noting that about 20 million barrels per day of crude oil and its derivatives were passing through the strait before the conflict erupted on February 28.

He added that Iran is losing its ability to hold the global economy hostage as the U.S. military assists oil tankers in navigating through the Strait of Hormuz, pointing out that Tehran is causing some disruptions, but it is starting to lose this leverage.

Crude Prices

In market news, U.S. crude oil prices fell by about 1% today, although futures had hovered around the $90 per barrel mark earlier in the session, amid military exchanges between Washington and Tehran, which ended a period of relative calm.
